Steak

Az is craving black pepper steak right now. And he got to the topic of black pepper steak while discussing Social Studies with someone.

A stake (or you can say steak) for everyone.

Sound familiar?

Of course it did, at least for those who pay the least bit of attention during Social Studies lessons. Speaking about Social Studies (mmm...steak), is anyone in the whole of the sec three cohort NOT gonna fail the test tomorrow? I know I am (gonna fail).

I've done a very thorough analysis on the Social Studies exam format. And basically, I think I'm gonna get two marks because one mark is allocated when you make a stand (basically saying "Yes, I agree to..." or "No, I don't agree to...") and also because there are two questions. And for the record, I have no idea what we are supposed to study. I only know that there are two statements that should have something to do with the damned subject.

"Steak Stake for everyone."

and

"Opportunities for all."

So, yeah. I'm definitely not SS material. I'm a beatboxing/ambigramifying/reading/writing/drawing/photoshopping/bloghopping fiend who shouldn't be allowed to enter school.

Social Studies is a bitch.

But steak rocks.

Azri the Demon

For a long time now, I have wanted to make an ambigram of my name, and I have. Sketched it out countless times and finally got up and made a picture of it in using the computer (namely Paint and Photoshop).

So, here it is:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Cool, ain't it?

Oh yes, I forgot to tell those who haven't read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown what ambigrams are. That picture up there is an ambigram. It says Azri (yes, it does.). And when you turn it around, it still says Azri. Got that?

Okay, then I started feeling kinda crappy so I made this:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Yes, it's similar to the cover page of Dan Brown's Angels and Demons.

Anyway, I'm currently really into making ambigrams so if you want me to make an ambigram of your name, just tell me (absolutely NO requests through the tagboard).

So, yeah.

Valentine's Day

NOTE: This post may contain videos with vulgarities, so if your watching of people saying bad words will get me into trouble, either leave or don't watch the videos.

So, yeah. V-Day wasn't so special today, and the main highlight of the day was skating. Before you watch the videos and say that I suck in skating on my tagboard, please note that this was the second time I set my feet in a pair of shoes with wheels.

The first video:

Yes, that was it. And please note that the cameraman was skating backwards, so don't mind the shakiness. Same goes with the other clips. And yes, you can laugh.

The second video (where I improved a little bit):

An interview on the skating up till that point. Yes, you can laugh, too.

The third video:

Yes, go ahead and laugh.

The fourth and most irrelevant video:

A little 'prank' that Tim wanted to do, so yeah.

Came back home with a scrape on my elbow, a scrape on my knee, a cut in my calf, a cut on my arm which may give someone the impression that I was emo (but I wasn't) and an injured wrist which hurts.

And that was my Valentine's Day.

P.S.: I only named the post Valentine's Day so that people would read this post.

Project: Mass Link 01

Az.

Is.

Back.

From that little place you call your mind. Anyway, I've decided to embark on a project. This project, Project: Mass Link 01 will be the first in many of its kind.

So, what is this project all about? It's about me, going to all of my links, and linking all of their links. And, if possible, also add them in MSN. And, yes, when I reach linking Amirul's links, I may die.

You can say that it's a desperate attempt to make new friends. I'm not exactly denying it.

So, for those who got linked by me and got asked to link me, here's a big hello to you (well, maybe it's not that big).

HELLO

Oh, I did mention that this will be the first of many of its kind, right? That meant that I will link the links of my current links. That's like, three whole groups of people, each bigger than the other.

Okay, I do not know what the hell I'm talking about.

Let the linking begin!

Slow Down

What's the rush, everyone?

Yes. Almost all of you. You're all rushing like there's no tomorrow. Homework, school, work, etc.

Slow the hell down. Stop to smell the roses once in a while. What's life without relaxing a little? Relax. Hit the pause button on your life. While on pause, just do whatever you want. Let it all out, your choice.

Life's a lot easier to go through that way. Especially us teenagers. We're in the time of our lives. And all you wanna do is work your asses off? Not that there's anything wrong with working but it's unhealthy to overdo it.

Thinking about your future, yeah that's good, but it's easier to 'think about your future' when you pause, put everything aside and think. Not think while you're rushing through your Math homework or something like that.

Sit down, look at the sky. If you haven't notice (probably because you're rushing), it's one helluva sight. Beautiful, especially when the day's coming to an end.

But hey, that's just one guy's opinion. I love walking slowly, thinking, seeing and appreciating this beautiful world that's going by unnoticed.

But, well, like I said, that's just my opinion. You may have other thoughts/feelings. and I'll be more than happy if you'd want to share your views with me.

Till then,
I'm never gonna put and emo phrase here

Blood Diamond

Sneaked into Blood Diamond just now. And, I have to say, I'll give it 5/5.

The movie shows how diamonds cause death. Thousands of people are killed for them. They even take children and make them into killers (child soldiers, which by the way, still exist in large numbers). They are forced to kill innocent people.

Is it worth it? One diamond you buy could cause the limbs of children, or even the lives of people, be it men, women or children.

It really gets you thinking.

When you want to buy a diamond ring for your loved one or whatever reason, a lot of lives are lost (unless they are non-conflict diamonds, which are not made/found illegally).

I know this is a short post but I can't really explain it with words. Just watch the movie and see for yourself.

Is it worth it?
